A responsible mutual insurer

The SMABTP Group is updating its coverage to support the ecological transition of the construction industry. All professional contracts include, at no extra cost, environmental damage cover and environmental civil liability, in line with the law on biodiversity.

It also invests in innovative start-ups working to promote the reuse and sustainable management of construction waste.

Since 1994, its corporate foundation EXCELLENCE SMA has been working to promote risk prevention and safety on construction sites.

A sustainable investor

The SMABTP Group incorporates demanding ESG criteria into its investment strategy, favoring responsible assets that are profitable in the long term and aligned with environmental and social issues.

The Group is committed to phasing out thermal coal by 2030 in the EU and OECD and by 2040 in the rest of the world.

It also pursues a responsible real estate policy: HQETM, BREEAM® and LEED® certified buildings, new regional sites with a low energy footprint, and 100% green electricity across its entire real estate portfolio.
